Durham Station Improvements Design
Beginning in 2024, the City of Durham will embark on a $13.5 million dollar renovation to the station. The Durham Station improvements are meant to add to this facility’s capacity, efficiency, safety, security, and shelter. A survey was created to understand how designs might enhance comfort, reinforce a sense of security, prioritize rider amenities, and uncover opportunities for cultural expression in plans for the future of the Durham Transit Station (515 W Pettigrew St). The survey is now closed, but there are two pop-up meetings at Durham Station to discuss the redesign scheduled for 6/27 and 8/22. You can register here to attend the meetings.
