The Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) celebrates September 16-20 as National TDM Week. Transportation Demand Management (TDM), uses strategies based in behavioral sciences to educate people on transportation options other than driving alone. The week is a campaign to raise awareness among government leaders, business professionals, and commuters to explore sustainable, safe, and reliable modes of transportation. The theme for 2024 is Carbon Reduction and we will share how TDM contributes to reducing carbon emissions in the Triangle. Join Way to Go Durham for in-person and virtual events and share your commitment to TDM by taking the pledge.
